A beautiful rose starts as a seed,
and slowly turns to a stem,
and finally it is indeed,
a young new bud.
The days of hardship are gone,
now its life has begun,
and the petals spread apart,
and now the work is done.
That's how the rose is born,
and every rose has its thorn....

A child
The joy and laughter of a child,
could not be replaced,
and enjoyment fills your heart,
as you look up at their face,
their mind is filled with happiness,
and their hearts are full of love,
and as we watch them run and play,
we thank the lord from above,
he's blessed us with a son,
or daughter, whichever one,
but as they grow and age
your heart feels a hole,
so if you have a child,
bless your soul.

Autumn
The leaves are turning colors
the wind is starting to blow,
the weather is getting colder
til autumn now, I know;
No more swimming or sun,
the cool days have just begun,
as the leaves hit the ground
I listen to all the chirpy sounds,
the squirrels run and look for nuts,
so they can hibernate,
and they store all their food,
so they'll have stuff to eat.
All the times of summer are gone,
now we look forward to snow,
but the days are getting shorter
and a cold breeze does blow,
These are things from Autumn;
The time of year for a song:

Bee nest conflict
The bees buzz noisily around their tree,
their honey is missing,
the bear awakes to come and see,
and now the bees are mad;
Someone came and took their food,
and left without a word,
and when they came from their wood,
they found it rather absurd....

Big Red
Big red was a lovable guy
why oh why did he have to die
just that day he was fine
his beautiful red fur surely did shine
he was a great specimen,
a great little pet he had been
all until that fatal day
when big red could no longer say....
queek queek queek queek
for he could no longer speak.

Everything around me doth perish in my sight,
everything I've ever loved has breathed its last breath
of life...
Death is like a car,
one minute its running fine,
the next, you're in a bind,
and everything is lost.
Lost so far down,
down
under every piece of flesh,
under every piece of skin,
and although none of my loves
have ever died with a sin,
they still are gone,
gone......gone
from us forever,
never again to be seen or loved, or cared for.
It is like a sandy ocean,
which knocks against the shore
taking every grain of sand in its way,
I say......

Kitty, kitty, how are thee,
oh, how I love you, you will see
Purr and meow, and wag your tail,
I will make you some socks to wear;

Love me too
There goes my heart, their goes my mind,
all that I think about....is all the times
we had together....
for tomorrow is another day,
and all I do is kindly say...
you're the one I want...
you're the one I need...
and all I ask of you...
all that I plead...
is that you love me too...
love me like I love you
Something in my heart,
says to turn back,
and life will be easier,
I'll be on the right track.
But my mind wanders, I cant help it
all I can think of
is our love
so please be true...
all I ask of you, is love me too.

Moonshine flickers over the lake,
on a warm summer night,
just watching the beautiful water,
and the fish swim out of sight,
is enough to make you sigh,
what a lovely time to be,
looking over the shiny sea,
the sea of love, and heart,
the place where nothing falls apart,
a wave is now splashing over the dock,
and as it stings your face, you feel the shock;
I'm so peaceful when in the water,
I'm so wild and free,
If I could not be on land,
there wouldn't be a place Id rather be...

The air smells fresh,
the day is cool,
the wind is blowing,
the trees are full;
The water in the lake,
ripples like silk,
the cows in the field,
are giving out milk;
The animals dance and sing away,
the fish are swimming in the bay,
the sun glitters,
among the hills,
as it gives off sunshine,
and a breeze for the windmills.
The flowers have bloomed,
and give off a scent,
which smells like clover,
and peppermint.
The little child plays,
and runs in the pasture,
but every day
she is growing up faster.

The beast
His fur was brown and soft,
his feet were bare,
I could hear his heart beating,
but all he did was stare;
I got a little closer,
to see if he was good,
and he turned and growled,
and then I understood.
This beast I so called,
was angry and sad,
for the home he once knew,
he no longer hand;

The morning sun,
glistens on the sea,
and the light bounces,
and reflects onto me.
I was sitting on a dock,
watching the sunrise,
when the moon went away,
and I closed my eyes.
I heard a noise,
from a distance,
and I awoke,
in an instance,
only to see the gulls
pecking at the sand
and I leaned over
and touched them with my hand.

The night I knew
The night seems so cold,
the sun does not shine,
the moon sends a chill,
up and down my spine;
Up that brown dirt road,
down around the curve,
someone stands alone,
underneath the fir;
She sings a song so soft,
tears fill my eyes,
I start to wonder,
as I stare into the sky;
Who she was I knew not,
but I think I know now,
That happy girl was me,
standing alone with a smile;

The rain
The rain beats down on the windowsill,
and I walk outside just to feel,
I can hear it pitter patter,
and I get wet but it doesn't matter.
The drops are very small,
but unique most of all,
each drop is its own thing,
and as I watch I proudly sing.
The music made has a beat
and the rain sounds very neat,
but look now
and you can see
the day is becoming sunny,
all the rain slowly stops
and I see no more
of those little raindrops.

The World
I know I'm lucky every day,
just to be able to say,
life is short and time is lost
and I wouldn't waste it at any cost,
some people never see,
how happy life could be,
if only they could know,
what the land has to show,
and stop acting so proud,
and get their head out of the clouds,
they need to wake up today,
and stop to think and pray,
for one day there will be no time,
to be greedy, selfish, and whine,
some people are happy as could be,
with no car or no money,
all they need is family love,
and help and guidance from up above.

When I wake up,
I feel at peace,
and I go outside,
and look at the trees,
I know that I could not be
satisfied or happy
in some other time or place
and I have all the butterflies to chase,
but one mistake
could ruin it all,
one persons carelessness,
could make it fall.
The home in which I live
is in the woods and in the hills,
I can look on a summer morn
and see the new day be born,
all this is not possible
in the city, for it is dull,
out here in the woods,
I live and play as happy as could be.

When the night is turning grey
I look over the glittering bay
all the time I watch to see
the waves trickle into the sea;

Why him?
I try to understand,
why...why it happened,
yet I don't know,
but it has left me saddened;
I feel like I'm in a dream,
It's not real, so it seems,
I don't know why,
so all I can do is cry;
He was very sweet and nice
and I had just said hi,
But then something happened,
yet I don't know why;
The day went by fast,
because he was not there,
I'm sad when I think of him,
and I'll never see him again;
why,
why him,
why him,
why.....

A daisy in the field
of dreams shall yield;
but no one shall hear
the sound it holds dear.
Just the butterflies and the birds
and bugs in the land
the wind blows a chill breeze
and the sunlight does not seize,
the petals of a flower,
so can only be described
as a beautiful piece of work
that has been passed along
through the circle of life,
help keep it free
from harm and strife,
no harm shall we do it,
no pain shall we give,
but just remember everything
has the right to live....

Love
When you find that special someone
and you fall head over heels,
make sure that that person
knows exactly how you feel;
Love is something that can't be described,
love is different for everyone,
and when you find your sweetie,
make sure you have fun.
Love.
You can feel it, like it, and know it,
but you can't see it, or throw it.
So watch out: you may be
the next victim.
Happy Valentines day

ME
When I look up to see
the sun beating on my skin
and I know how lucky I am
to smell the fresh air
the breeze and flowery scent
and I'm happy when
I think about all
the things I can
do
on a summer day
or even on a night
I can walk freely
out of sight
no one is watching
no eyes on me
just the sound of
the insects
calling out to
me.
Me.
It sounds so plain
sounds so usual
but once I find the meaning
my reason for living is full....

Winter summer and spring
On a winter night the winds blow cold,
and warmth from in our hearts we hold,
as snow flickers down,
and covers the frozen ground,
the icicles forming on the roof
now are building up,
as we look out the window,
our minds are abrupt,
the difference of this and that
can be a many things,
but nothing could show as much
happiness as summer brings.
Glad to not carry wood,
or have to cover up good
just to keep warm,
now we keep cool
and the days are full....
that's summer and spring
and that's when the angels sing.

A winter saga
On a wet winters eve
the rain pours down,
it drips in little drops
and splatters on the ground;
On a wet winters night
the sun does not shine,
and the stars are bright
and the sky is blind;
On a wet winter morn
the fog has settled by,
and the sun barely peaks
through the clouds in the sky;
On a wet winter day
the sun finally comes out;
and the ground is drying
and everyone will shout.
